The seminar was organized collectively by Maharaoshri Vijyaraji Sarvajanik Pustakalay, Tax Consultant Association and Setu Abhiyan organization. The Union Budget presented by India’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaram for the year 2019-2020 was discussed on the lines of Concerns and provisions of the budget and their impact on the common citizen.
Lecture series are organized periodically by the Setu Abhiyan organization to aware citizens become aware of government schemes, policies, legislations etc. As part of the series, this seminar was organized.
Introducing the purpose of the seminar, Mr. Upendrabhai Upadhyay, President of Vijayraj Library revealed that when the budget is presented, everyone expects it to be beneficial to the general public. Everybody evaluates the budget according to their own understanding. In such a situation, this seminar is organized with the objective to aware and inform citizens about the provisions and the effects of the budget on common man. .
In the inauguration of the seminar, Kutch Tax Consultant Association’s Vice President Mr Rameshbhai Pindoria and President Mr Bharatbhai Joshi provided information on financial provisions, rules on income tax return. The Assistant Governor of Rotary Inter Club Kutch and Trustee of the Setu Abhiyan Organization Mr Arunbhai Vachhrajani explained about the issues like Public Private Partnerships, Investment and provided detailed information on various aspects of the budget. Kutch Tax Consultant Association greeted Arunbhai with a Momentum of Honor for providing subtle details on the budget issue. Present in the seminar were Mr Ramabhai Gadhvi, Executive Chairman Mr Bharatbhai Rana, Leader of the opposition Mr Rajendrasingh Jadeja, Trustee of Setu Abhiyan Ms Krupaben Dhlakiya and Director Mr Manishbhai Acharya and Vice President of library Mr Piyushbhai Pattani.
In organizing the seminar; staff members of the library, Bhaavsinh Kher, Vishram Vaghela, Mamad Lakha, Mayur Rathod, Asha Maheshwari of SETU Abhiyan had contributed. Seminar was hosted by Mr Jay Anjaraia of Bhuj Bole Chhe and Vote of Thanks were given by Ms Krupaben Dholakiya..
