Youth Heritage Walk
December 7, 2025

The much-awaited Heritage Walk for youth, organised by Anoko Yuvamanch, was successfully conducted yesterday. The walk was guided by Jay Anjarya, a writer and HIC program coordinator, with more than 40 young participants taking part.
Jay shared forgotten stories, the rich cultural heritage, pre-independence conditions, and the architectural significance of Bhuj city. All participants showed great enthusiasm and energy throughout the walk. As cities continue to grow and face environmental changes, it becomes even more important to understand the places we live in. Knowing our past helps us build a more livable and meaningful future for our cities.
Youth are our hope and the driving force of change. HIC envisions Bhuj as a more inclusive, just, and climate-resilient city—and we believe in the power and energy of youth to make our city better and more livable.
