A seminar was organized on the Central Budget in Bhuj

Recently, a seminar was organized on the central budget at Bhuj with the joint venture of the Vijayarajaji Library, the SETU organization and the Kutch Tax Consultant Association. Mr. Upendrabhai Upadhyay, the Trustee of SETU, introduced the seminar and invited speakers to set the ground for seminar.
Renowned Chartered Accountant Mr. Rameshbhai Pindoria informed about changes in the Central Budget regarding the legal provisions for NRIs. Along with this also provided detailed information on changes in the registration provisions for organizations such as the Charitable Trust. A prominent tax advisor and trustee of the SETU Abhiyan, Mr. Arunbhai Vachhrajani spoke about the changes in direct taxation, covering various aspects of the budget, saying that the alternative tax collection method has been introduced in this budget. But to what extent this tax collection method prove useful to small taxpayers will be known to us after sometime. In addition, he also said that, according to the expectations from the finance minister, no concrete plans for solving the current economic recession and unemployment problem have been seen in this budget. He also added that the budget was disappointing for citizens.
In this seminar veteran journalist Mr. Kirtibhai Khatri, social worker and chartered accountant Mr. Ramjibhai Patel, Mr. Bharatbhai Joshi, President of Tax Consultant Association, Mr. Manishbhai Acharya and Mr. Piyushbhai Pattani were present. The seminar was facilitated by Mr. Nareshbhai Antani.
